Sniper Scope C1

Produced by Leitz Optics of Canada the Sniper Scope C1 was selected by the Canadian military after tests conducted between October 1956 and April 1957 (Cashner, 2013).

The Snipe Scope C1 was latter tested by the British and Australian military, who reported issues with the scope fogging from humitidity in tropical environments (Cashner, 2013).

Serial Numbers

Only 305 scopes were ordered by the Canadian military, known scope serial numbers fall between 1201 and 1561 (Michael Law, 2004).
